Highway Patrol Scanner Frequencies
dps-patch.jpg The Arizona highway patrol, under the Department of Public Safety, broadcasts across the 440mHz radio band. There are 11 frequencies in the band and most of them server two different districts -- one in the Phoenix metro area and one in an area at the other end of the state. The calls are seperated by using different pl tones. Districts 1-4,C, and E use pl tone 100.0. Districts 6-12 and W use pl tone 151.4.

Likewise, the criminal investigative divisions share frequencies but differ by PL tones. 1 and 2 use 100.0. 3 and 4 use 151.4. Statewide operations and Statewide TAC share the same frequency using PL tones 100.0 and 151.4 respectively.
